I-130, Petition for Alien Relative

Do you meet one of the relationships listed below?

This service may be right for you if you are a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident and you are filing for one of the following relatives:

  • Your spouse

  • Your unmarried child (any age)

  • Your married child (U.S. citizens only)

  • Your parent (U.S. citizens only; petitioner must be 21+)

  • Your brother or sister (U.S. citizens only; petitioner must be 21+)

Filing an I-130 does not, by itself, grant a green card or any other immigration benefit, but it is often the first step in the process.
