I-130 – Petition for Alien Relative

Do you meet one of the qualifying family relationships?

This service may be right for you if you are a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder) and you are petitioning for one of the following qualifying relatives:

  • Your spouse

  • Your unmarried child (any age)

  • Your married child (U.S. citizens only)

  • Your parent (U.S. citizens only; petitioner must be 21 years or older)

  • Your brother or sister (U.S. citizens only; petitioner must be 21 years or older)

Please note: Filing an I-130 Petition for Alien Relative does not, by itself, grant a green card or any other immigration benefit. However, it is often the first and essential step toward helping an eligible family member begin the immigration process.
